  42.  characters. The ‚Äútraditional‚Äù Macintosh character set stopped at ASCII 232, leaving 24 characters available for a hodgepodge of foreign characters.
  43.    Adobe fonts have long provided a set of additional characters.  System 6.0.4 formalizes these characters, adds a few, and fixes some bugs in how these characters are sorted.
  44.    These new characters are available in the Times, Helvetica, and  Courier fonts provided on the ‚ÄúUtilities 2‚Äù disk, so you‚Äôll need to replace your old ones.

  53.    When using CD-ROMs (and in general on locked volumes), closing folders is much faster as the Finder does not try to save the new locations.  For those of you who use AppleShare‚Äôs ‚ÄúDesktop Manager‚Äù on your non-AppleShare volumes, the Finder should now properly unmount (eject) these volumes.  In old versions a request for an
